Sister Donna Jurick, SND
Executive Vice President, Provost
Sister Donna Jurick, SND joined St. Edward’s in 1988, serving as vice president and academic dean from 1988 to 1998 and executive vice president from 1998 to present. As executive vice president, she also serves as the university’s chief academic officer. In 2006, her title was expanded to include "Provost”.
Jurick is a member of the university president’s administrative staff, chairs the university’s Strategic Planning Committee 2010–2015, Academic Council and Graduate Council committees, and staffs the Board of Trustees’ Institutional Oversight and Academic Affairs Committee. She also facilitates the New Faculty Seminar.
Jurick received her bachelor’s from Edgecliff College (Our Lady of Cincinnati), master’s from Northwestern University and doctorate degree from Ohio State University. Prior to coming to St. Edward’s, Jurick was president of Trinity College, Washington, D.C. (1982–1987). She serves on Southern Association of Colleges and Schools: Reaffirmation Committees, and as a trustee of Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California.
