Make Global Connections via E-learning Technology

Students at St. Edward’s use technology, such as advanced videoconferencing equipment, to connect with other campuses and professionals abroad. Our new state-of-the-art library serves as a media center and e-learning hub.

Support Services

Graduate school is a big commitment — and a big investment in your future. To help you succeed, St. Edward’s offers a wide range of support services that make earning your master’s degree easier.

Whether you’re attending classes at our main campus in South Austin or St. Edward’s University–North Austin near the Arboretum, you’ll have access to the academic and personal support you need to excel.

Campuswide Technology

Over the past few years, we’ve added new buildings with state-of-the-art classrooms that include advanced audio/visual equipment, computer work stations and wireless Internet connections, along with wireless zones across campus.

St. Edward’s also offers five student computer labs on our main campus, including two 24-hour labs. At our North Austin location, you’ll enjoy the comfort of roomy seminar-styled classrooms, as well as computer labs where you can work on homework or print out assignments.

The Computer Help Desk is just an e-mail or phone call away to assist students with a wide array of technological challenges — from troubleshooting an Internet connection to backing up important files. Need to brush up on the latest software? Our free computer training workshops will get you up to speed.

Writing Center

The Writing Center can help you become a stronger, more confident writer, even if it’s been a while since you last wrote a paper. Through the Writing Center, students can consult one-on-one with experienced writing instructors for help with punctuation rules, creating a bibliography and more. The Writing Center is conveniently available by appointment or walk-in seven days a week, including evenings. Plus, the Online Writing Lab can help when you’re working on assignments away from campus.

Career Preparation

Looking for ways to connect with potential employers? Want to improve your résumé and interview skills? St. Edward's offers a variety of programs to help you prepare for whatever field you choose. Our career preparation services provide you with practical insights, networking opportunities, and job-search skills and resources that get you ready to stand out in a competitive job market.

Dining

Hungry, but in a hurry? You won’t have to skip a meal, even rushing between work and class. Our main campus offers convenient dining options — day and evening — with food ranging from on-the-go sandwiches to Tex-Mex to sushi. You can also study or relax with friends over a beverage and a snack in our two coffeehouses on campus.

Veterans Affairs

St. Edward’s University honors the service of our military veterans and works with the Veterans Administration to help you get the education you deserve. Our Veterans Affairs Office will walk you through your benefits and can answer any questions about eligibility, payments or tutoring. The university is a participant in the “Yellow Ribbon” program and funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
