Why I Teach

My job is to entice, enhance and intrigue my students so they engage with their own “dance of learning.” I function as a guide and an interpreter as they seek to understand the coursework and then make their own meaning from it.

I teach because it helps people achieve their goals. I like thinking and talking about my chosen area of study. Although it is hard work, it is extremely satisfying. I teach because it is a joyful experience.
