CPA Panelist, Speaker, Advocate for Women

Louise Single appeared as a panelist at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Women’s Leadership Summit in Boston, Mass., in 2012.

That same year, Single was an invited speaker at the Houston Chapter of the American Women’s Society of CPAs Leadership Conference and at the Louisiana Society of CPAs Women’s Leadership Conference. She presented on the role of advocacy in the advancement of female accounting professionals based on a survey she conducted for the AICPA Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee during Summer 2012.

Published Study Examines New Data

Louise E. Single co-authored “New Leadership Tracks in Accounting Firms: An Alternative to the Partnership” in Current Issues in Auditing, an online journal published by the American Accounting Association. The study provides the first set of comprehensive data on “director” or “non-equity partner” positions in public accounting firms.
