Why I Teach

My goal is to coach, mentor and support active learning. Each semester, my students and I embark on a journey in which we create a productive learning experience. With the syllabus as roadmap, we walk along, and periodically check on our progress, making changes to accommodate everyone’s needs. Everyone plays an active role. When we reach the end, I hope that everyone has learned and that we are a bit wiser.

I teach in order to help my students see that they can make a real difference in the world by using their talents to seek their dreams, becoming the best that they can be and doing what they were put on earth to do.
