Why I Teach

There is personal reward in taking my students on a journey that equips them with new levels of cultural literacy, a deeper understanding of the process of persuasion and a reverence for the power of language. Teaching gives me hope.

The Information Age presents unprecedented opportunities to spark a spirit of inquiry in students. In nurturing a student’s research and writing skills, I aim to inspire full participation in humanity’s local and global dialogues.
