Why I Teach

I want my students to be engaged during my classes. To accomplish this, I provide a broad context for thinking and talking about the subject matter at hand. Also, I’m always happy to spend extra time with my students to discuss their questions and give feedback on their work. Ultimately, I want to broaden their minds and views of the world. I want each student to walk away from my class a changed person. This can sometimes be a challenging undertaking — but it is a challenge I love.
