Why I Teach

My greatest satisfaction comes from the give-and-take of the classroom where students bring a wonderful mix of individual backgrounds, learning styles and levels of skill. I try to remember that I am not so much teaching Theater Arts as I am teaching students.

I work hard to create an environment to help students grow and change, and most important, to support each other as they evolve. I never tire of watching young actors discover new levels of confidence, helping speakers develop new eloquence and teaching students the joy of working together for a common goal.
