Why I Teach
My approach to teaching, like many philosophers, is about asking individuals what an author means and how and why they agree or disagree with the author’s arguments. I emphasize lively discussions in which students can better understand the ideas at hand — and how these concepts might better inform the way they think and ultimately live their lives.
I teach because I want to have a positive impact on the future of my students.
