Why I Teach
I motivate my students by the belief that together we learn by doing. There are many other principles that inform my teaching approach, including Socrates’ maxim: “The unexamined life is not worth living.” To this end, I believe it is important to create a lively discussion in order to promote a solid understanding of ideas.
I teach out of love for my subject and passing this knowledge along to my students.
