Why I Teach
I really enjoy introducing students to another language and its corresponding culture. As we explore a specific country, its people and its traditions, students gain a real understanding of the way of life, problems, accomplishments and values of that culture. To continually engage my students, I make it a priority to keep up with developments in the Spanish speaking world. I also travel to gather new experiences that I can bring back to my classes.
I am committed to helping my students get to know the world. To prepare them for the 21st century, my teaching emphasizes how important it is to know, respect and engage people beyond our borders.
