Why I Teach

I place high expectations on my students. I know that individuals enter college with different levels of training and experience, so I offer each one different kinds of support. That support comes primarily through conversations, written responses and instruction.

Being able to see students’ progress from their first year in college to graduation gives me deep satisfaction. I feel fortunate to be in a profession that is challenging and exciting, and allows me to use my creativity and intellect to help others to develop important skills.
