Why I Teach

I challenge my students to recognize and think critically about a number of complex topics. In the classroom, I share personal anecdotes and encourage individuals to share their own experiences as they relate to the course material. I strive to create an open, safe and interactive environment. My classes tend to be energetic and engaging — and I enjoy witnessing the ways in which students’ lives are transformed through learning.

By teaching at St. Edward’s, I see the future of our increasingly interconnected world. I view the cultivating of each unique mind and heart the highest of callings.
