Why I Teach
My goal has always been to teach courses that give students meaningful learning experiences in a positive environment. To that end, I continue to improve my expertise, share teaching strategies with peers and implement various teaching methods while remembering that learning is hard work.
I have a strong commitment to our rigorous, liberal arts education. In the spirit of the mission of St. Edward’s, I design courses with an emphasis on creativity, critical thinking and writing. I believe that the primary purpose of an education is to enable students to succeed as productive, problem-solving members of society.
