Why I Teach
At the start of every class, I ask my students about examples of physics that they have experienced in their everyday lives. I find this kind of questioning promotes a dynamic dialogue within the classroom. Also, the context of day-to-day life helps my students make more immediate connections to subject material.
This kind of dialogue also inspires me as a teacher. It energizes me and reminds me why I like to teach.
