Why I Teach

My role as a teacher is to give my students the necessary tools to become successful learners. I am both a guide and an academic cheerleader. I love to challenge my students beyond their own preconceived limitations — and watch them excel as learners.

I also enjoy the interconnected nature of knowledge, an aspect of learning that is embraced here at St. Edward’s University. I can teach within our general curriculum, but I’m also encouraged to collaborate with faculty and students across various academic disciplines.
