Why I Teach

I love trying to make complex concepts more understandable and interesting. There is not a day in front of a classroom that I don't walk away thinking of the ways that I could improve. As a result, teaching is always exciting and rewarding.

My profession provides an opportunity to positively influence and affect students’ lives much in the same way that my own life was affected. While this is a great opportunity, it is also a great responsibility. Teaching always challenges me to be the best that I can.
