Why I Teach

I do my best to engage my students by “doing,” because this is really where the fun is. It is also where the deeper thinking and learning often happen — whether it’s working out problems in the classroom, presenting and discussing papers, or getting their hands wet in the research lab.

I love watching my students grow — academically and personally — during their time at St. Edward’s. Seeing them get inspired by learning, in turn, inspires me to be a better teacher.
