Why I Teach

In order to make my classes interactive, I emphasize the art of questioning and critical thinking. My approach also includes challenging students to meet high academic standards, being open to change, and caring about young people both as people and as learners.

On the flip side, my students teach me a tremendous amount and keep me engaged and focused. I teach because of the excitement of learning and hope to model this experience for others.
