Why I Teach
I believe if our society is to flourish, it needs an educated citizenry who can think, analyze, reason and evaluate the difficult problems and challenges facing the world. I seek to enable my students to develop these skills by bringing the wisdom of the past to bear on our current lives. As they examine justice, purpose and personal virtue, they enter the “great conversation,” which can have a lasting effect individually and globally.
