The library at St. Edward's is one of the most popular destinations on the hilltop. Students meet up with friends and classmates to discuss assignments, work on projects and relax between classes.
Welcoming spaces to study, learn, collaborate
The library is designed to bring together students and faculty from different disciplines for creative collaboration and to encourage technical literacy.
Two computer labs feature more than 100 computers and printers, including several that are wireless. The library’s collection provides a wide selection of print and electronic books, music CDs and DVDs, along with adjoining viewing and listening stations.
Quiet zones and study areas give you ample space for focusing on assignments and a convenient place to plug in your laptop. In addition, two private study rooms — featuring state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment — are ideal for mapping out team projects and honing your multimedia presentation skills.
Comfortable chairs and couches spread throughout the library provide space for students to catch up on current magazines and leisure reading between classes.
St. Edward’s University historical documents and memorabilia, along with a unique collection of rare books, artifacts, 2,300 jazz records (and three decades of jazz periodicals) and other music are archived at the library.
