Admission Requirements
Finding the Right Fit
Finding the right mix of students for admission to St. Edward's involves a careful process of evaluation. We seek students from all over the world who want to learn about new cultures and exchange ideas in a diverse and challenging academic environment. If you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, we invite you to learn about international admission.
U.S. News & World Report, in its annual Best Colleges survey, confirms St. Edward's as "selective." Still, grades and test scores alone do not ensure a good fit. From that starting point, our Admission team begins to learn about you.
Some key questions we ask:
- Do you seek a challenging academic environment that emphasizes engaged learning, collaboration and an international point of view?
- Does diversity — of every kind — bring out the best in you?
- How eager are you to discover new worlds, do your part to make a difference and be changed in the process?
- Are you willing to share your international experiences with a globally engaged student population?
