Admission Requirements
Finding the Right Fit
Finding the right mix of students for admission to St. Edward's involves a careful process of evaluation.
We attract significant numbers of high-achieving students from around the world. U.S. News & World Report, in its annual Best Colleges survey, confirms St. Edward's as "selective."
Still, grades and test scores alone do not ensure a good fit. From that starting point, our Admission team begins to learn about you.
Some key questions we ask:
- Do you seek a challenging academic environment that emphasizes engaged learning, collaboration and an international point of view?
- Does diversity — of every kind — bring out the best in you?
- How eager are you to discover new worlds, do your part to make a difference and be changed in the process?
Minimum Credentials
Students with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 and at least one recent full-time semester with no grades below “C” are considered for admission. Students must submit a final high school transcript and an SAT or ACT score if transferring with less than 30 college credit hours.
