The best way to get to know St. Edward’s is to come see it (and Austin) for yourself. All campus visit programs are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis for prospective students.

Fall Visit Options
Our campus walking tours are led by current students and last about an hour and 15 minutes. Fall tours are offered through Dec. 2: Monday and Friday at 9:30 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. (excluding university holidays). Tours include a look inside academic buildings, the student center, athletic facilities and a residence hall. Please inform our tour coordinator if you need any specific accommodations.

Fall Open Houses
An Open House is a great opportunity for you to spend some time on our sunny hilltop. We’ll have information sessions, campus tours and residence hall tours offered throughout the day. You pick the activities and times that work best for you. And be sure to leave some time to explore Austin and see for yourself why it’s been voted one of the best places to live.

Whether you have the day off from school or are in town for the second weekend of Austin City Limits, we invite you to spend some time on our beautiful hilltop. After your tour, stick around to cheer on the Hilltoppers as men’s soccer takes on Rogers State at 2:30 p.m.

Senior Visit Day
This event, Saturday, Nov. 8, is designed specifically for high school seniors and their parents! Spend the day touring campus and the residence halls, learning about the admission process and meeting members of our community. Reservations are required, and space is limited. Open to seniors only.

If you can’t make it to an open house or senior visit day, our comprehensive visits are an opportunity for high school seniors to experience a day in the life of a St. Edward's student. You’ll attend class, meet with a current student and eat in the dining all. Please select your morning or afternoon visit at least two weeks in advance. For seniors traveling alone, we can arrange for you to spend the night in a residence hall with a student host. (Three weeks notice required.)

Transfer Student Information Sessions
College students currently attending another university are invited to join us for our Transfer Information Session on Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, from noon to 1 p.m. You’ll learn more about St. Edward’s University and our transfer admission process. Information about our majors and internship opportunities will also be provided.

St. Edward’s is located just minutes from downtown Austin. Wondering how to get to campus and where to stay? We recommend the Wyndham Garden Hotel, which offers a St. Edward’s visitor rate of $109 per night, including breakfast for two. The hotel is about a five-minute drive from campus.

Visitor Parking – Free visitor parking can be found in the lilac-colored zone marked “Restricted” and in the dark blue zone marked “Visitor Parking” on the parking map. To access the lilac-colored parking spaces behind the Carriage House, turn onto Andre Drive from Woodward Street. Turn right onto Moody Drive, and then a left into the parking lot. To access the dark blue parking spaces, please enter the university from Woodward, turning onto Theater Pass near the softball fields. Then turn right toward the parking garage and visitor lot.
