Alumni Association Officers and Board Members
The purpose of the Alumni Association is to provide the means of a continuing relationship between the university and its alumni. The association strives to stimulate participation of all members of the Alumni Association and to enable them to contribute to and share in the enhancement of the university. In addition, the Association seeks to encourage alumni to maintain the characteristics gained at the university: the courage to take risks, to adopt an international perspective and recognize their responsibility to the world community, by stressing the obligation of all people to pursue a more just world, all through community service and involvement. Finally, through recruiting new students and encouraging alumni giving, the association is committed to helping the university in providing educational opportunities for students of varied cultural, religious, educational and economic backgrounds.
As members of the Alumni Board of Directors, it is our role to assist our alumni and our chapters in fulfilling the purpose of the Alumni Association through fulfillment of the following guiding principles:
- Continue relationship between university and alumni
- Stimulate participation
- Maintain characteristics of Mission of university
- Take responsibility through community service and involvement
- Through involvement of its members, the Association encourages members to provide financial support to the university
Alumni are elected to the board for rotating three-year terms and may serve on
