Big Ben, The Beatles and Buckingham Palace: It's the Alumni Trip to London!

The St. Edward's Alumni Association will be taking a trip to merry old London, England, October 9-14, 2005. Whether your taste runs to classic Shakespeare and theatre, the history of the Royal Family of England or shopping at Harrod's, this trip will include something for everyone.

You're invited to join Brother Stephen Walsh, CSC, '62, executive director of the Holy Cross Institute, for the once-in-a-lifetime celebration of the 1000th birthday of St. Edward the Confessor, king of England (1042-1066) and patron saint of St. Edward's University. View the complete itinerary.

Alumni trip highlights:

• Attend Evensong, Eucharist and other services at Westminster Abbey - the church St. Edward built and the site of his burial.
• View a special exhibition in the Abbey museum.
• Take in a tour of Canterbury; visit the Cathedral and Tales.
• Participate in a King's College conference on St. Edward and attend a lecture by Bishop Kallistos of Diokleia.

Cost: $2199 per person (includes hotels, roundtrip airfare from Houston and event entry as well as some meals as indicated in itinerary; cost based on 15 participants and double occupancy for hotel)
