Alumni Night at the Ballpark Events Score Big with Attendees

Alumni, faculty, staff, students and guests came out to cheer on the Round Rock Express and the Texas Rangers on July 8 for Alumni Night at the Ballpark. More than 232 attendees made for a sold-out event as the Round Rock Express successfully battled against the Nashville Sounds at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock. The fun began with a dinner at the United Heritage Center, and the excitement continued when Kay Arnold, ’04, caught a foul ball and Christyana Ramirez, ’00, won first place in the Dizzy Bat Race.

The same night in Dallas, there was no shortage of enthusiasm among the Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter members and guests who came out to root for the Texas Rangers against the Minnesota Twins. And even though the Rangers lost, attendees are already looking forward to next year's event.
