Embracing those who are different is one of the most important lessons Simone Talma, '91, MBA, '02, learned while attending St. Edward's University as an undergraduate. It laid the foundation for a career in development and outreach — she now works at the Austin Area Interreligious Ministries — and has kept her closely tied to the university as an active alumni member. 
What does it mean to be a Holy Cross educator today? More than 150 individuals from 22 Holy Cross institutions across the country gathered at St. Edward's University March 26–28, 2006, to consider this question and examine ways to build a community of learning and practice among Holy Cross educators.
