Carrying on the Tradition
Service. A longstanding part of the St. Edward's mission, there's no doubt that serving the community shapes each student's experience on the hilltop and beyond. Alumni give of themselves in two very meaningful ways to ensure the continuation of a 125-year legacy.
Giving Your Time
As active volunteers, St. Edward’s Alumni Association members lead their local chapters, serve on advisory boards, mentor students and volunteer for phonathons and Homecoming and Family Weekend. Through networking receptions and projects such as Toys for Tots and The Big Event, alumni unite — and re-create the sense of community they knew as students.
Alumni also give their time and talent to the next generation of students at St. Edward's. They volunteer at college recruiting fairs in their area. They mentor students who share their interests; speak on panels about their major and career; and visit with graduating seniors about the benefits of being alumni.

Giving Financially
Your financial support is just as important as giving of your time and talent. Alumni know that their financial gifts to The St. Edward's Fund are critical to supporting new generations of St. Edward’s University students. By making a gift of any size to The St. Edward’s Fund, you will help carry on the legacy of giving that made your own education possible and provide vital support for today’s students. No matter how alumni choose to get involved, they stay connected. They give back. They rediscover that volunteering and their financial support make a lasting difference in transforming themselves and others.
