INTERNATIONAL STUDENT INFORMATION
The Office of Education currently advises approximately 130 international students in the graduate, New College and undergraduate programs on immigration, cultural, and personal issues. All international students are required to attend international student orientation and are provided with information regarding the relationship between the activities they engage in on the St. Edward’s University campus and their immigration status. Students are encouraged to maintain contact with the OIE staff during their programs and confer with an International Advisor when they have questions or when they wish to makes change to their course of study. The OIE staff does not participate in academic advising for international students, although each visa category carries different regulations concerning enrollment requirements. The OIE staff also works to connect the international student population with the St. Edward’s community through programming and campus involvement.
