FSTY and CULF Supplemental Instructors

Gregg Vunderink, Ph.D.   Dr. Vunderink received his Ph.D. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin and taught Political Science for four years at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. The recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship, Dr. Vunderink also has a Masters of International Administration and has spent many years living and working overseas. During his professional career he has worked primarily in educational settings or with non-profit organizations and enjoys helping to create situations through which people can learn how to achieve goals of importance to them.


Sister Judith Murphy, CSC   Sister Judy has more than forty years of experience in education as a teacher, principal, ESL instructor, and director academic advising. She has directed a family ministry program and served as an education advisor to low-income, first-generation adults and youths. Sister Judy has a strong interest in working with ESL students and first-generation college students. Sister Judy holds a Master’s degree in Education Administration from Notre Dame University.


Robert Andreasen    Mr. Andreasen has many years of experience working with students, including migrant students. He has taught humanities courses and worked in Holy Cross campus ministry. His teaching philosophy is based on determining students’ needs, evaluating their learning styles, and modeling for them effective approaches to learning. Mr. Andreasen holds a Master’s degree in Education and Theology from St. Michael’s College.


Karen Gregg Ms. Gregg, who holds a Master’s degree in Art History from The University of Texas at Austin, has served as Assistant Curator of Education at the Dallas Museum of Art and Curator of Media and Exhibitions at UT Dallas. For 18 years she volunteered as a teacher, librarian, and counselor while schooling her son at Sri Atmananda Memorial School, Malakkara, Kerala State, India.
