The
Academic Planning and Support Services (APSS) staff provides
support for freshmen/transfer advising functions on campus, as
well as additional forms of academic assistance for undergraduate
students.
Words from the Director
Education is a process, and every process
has a beginning and an end. The Academic Planning and Support
Services staff is ready to assist you as you begin your journey
at St. Edward's University.
The Academic Planning and Support Services staff will help new
and transfer students realize their full potential through personal
development counseling, academic and career exploration, tutoring,
and goal setting. We hope that, as you work with the academic
support team, your transition to St. Edward's University will
be made easier.
I encourage you to take personal responsibility as you move forward
in your chosen field of study. Do this by taking some time
to discover who you are, to seek your life's purpose, to determine
what you truly believe, and to interact with others whose perspective
may differ from you. Upon graduation, take this knowledgeable
transformed person into the workplace or your graduate program
and experience the multitude of benefits that will come your way.
