| Welcome to College - How it is Different from High School
College is finally here and you are out on your own - probably for the first time. You will be making decisions on your own, setting your own schedule, and meeting tons of new people. While this will likely be one of the best times of your life, it will also require adjustments from the way you did things in high school. The following material was developed to point out some of the differences between the way things were in high school and what you will likely encounter in college. Think about these topics and how you will respond to the differences. The best remedy to problems in the transition period is simply prevention.
