Humanities, Social Sciences and Education

 

  • Institute for International Public Policy Fellowship Program
    • Must begin as a sophomore student and continue with the program throughout college. Interest in international service.
    • 3.2/4.0 GPA required.

  • Morris K. Udall
    • Sophomore or junior students studying in a field related to the environment (many included)
    • Or, Native American and Alaska Natives studying in fields related to Health Care or Tribal Policy (enrolled member of recognized tribe).
    • Undergraduate scholarship of up to $5,000 for tuition.

    Deadline: Mid-December

  • Ronald H. Brown Commercial Service Fellowship Program
    • Training to enter Commercial Service after completion of Fellowship Program and completion of Masters Degree. Begin school during junior year summer.
    • Tuition, room & board, books, fees, travel for junior and senior years and 1st year of graduate school.

  • Goldwater Scholarship
    • Juniors and seniors eligible for scholarship.
    • Pursue careers in math, natural sciences, or engineering.
    • School nominates students.
    • $7,500/yr.

Minority Student Specific

 

  • American Chemical Society Scholars Program
    • Encourage African-American, Hispanic, and American Indian students to pursue an undergraduate degree in the chemical sciences or chemical technology.
    • Merit and financial need. High school seniors or freshmen, sophomores or juniors in college.
    • Maximum $3,000/yr.

    Deadline: March

  • Hispanic Scholarship Fund
    • Hispanic heritage with at least 15 undergraduate credit hours and a minimum 2.7 GPA.
    • Financial need.
    • Stipends range from $1,000-$3,000. May continue to receive money for graduate school.
