Logan Lawrence came to St. Edward’s from the University of Texas–Arlington, where he served as assistant sports information director.
Lawrence, a native of Desoto, Texas, was the primary contact for the Maverick men’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis and volleyball teams. He helped maintain the school’s athletic web site and produced media guides for these sports.
At St. Edward’s, Lawrence oversees communication for all 13 Hilltopper sports programs, including media guides and the Athletics web site.
Prior to working for UT–Arlington, Lawrence was the sports information director at Texas Wesleyan in Fort Worth. In addition to managing information for eight teams, he oversaw game day operations. He began his career as a graduate assistant in the Media Relations Department at Troy State in Troy, Ala., from 2001 to 2003.
Lawrence is a 2001 graduate of Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. He also earned a master’s degree in Sport Management from Troy State in 2003. Lawrence played collegiate baseball for two seasons at Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas, from 1997 until 1998.
He, his wife Bridget and daughter Allyson reside in Kyle.
