Kim Morgal will begin her first season as assistant coach of the Hilltopper volleyball program.

Morgal was previously a graduate assistant coach for Oklahoma City University. She has also been involved with the Oklahoma Charge Volleyball Club since 2003. Morgal was a practice coach from 2003-2005 and also a Head Coach, Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and Assistant Director of Coaching since 2005. She also coached the 2006 season at Kenneth Cooper Middle School in Oklahoma City.

As a player, Morgal started four seasons at Central Oklahoma where she tallied 1,159 kills and 114 blocks during her stay. She was named first-team all-Lone Star Conference North Division her senior season and helped the Bronchos reach the NCAA Division II National Tournament two times in her four years.

In high school, Morgal was an all-state performer at Edmond Santa Fe High School and was also named all-city by The Oklahoman and Edmond Sun.

Morgal received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Central Oklahoma in 2006 and her Master of Education in Applied Behavioral Studies from Oklahoma City in 2008.
