Dale named Heartland Conference Co-Pitcher of the Week
AUSTIN, Texas - Josh Dale was named Heartland Conference Co-Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday by the conference office.
Dale, a Sealy, Texas native, made one start against Texas A&M International this past week. Dale threw a complete game shutout to lead the Hilltoppers to a, 1-0, victory. Dale worked seven innings without allowing any runs. He gave up seven hits and struck out four Dustdevil hitters. This is the first Heartland Conference award of the season for Dale.
The Hilltoppers will be back in action Friday as they travel to San Antonio, Texas to take on Incarnate Word. The two teams will play a doubleheader with the first game beginning at 1 p.m.
