Weinstein named All-America by Jewish Sports Review
LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Shawn Weinstein was named All-America by the Jewish Sports Review for the second-straight year.
Weinstein, a Rancho Palos Verde, Calif. native, led the Hilltoppers in scoring with 15.6 points per game. He was tops on the team in three-point shooting by making 69 treys and connecting on 42.1 percent of his shots. Weinstein also led the team in free throws making 75.7 percent (106-140) of his freebies.
St. Edward's finished the season as Heartland Conference Champions for the third-straight year with a 23-7 record. They advanced to the NCAA South Central Regional for the third-straight season as well.
