St. Edward's University

AUSTIN, Texas - The 2007 edition of the St. Edward's men's soccer team was awarded the NSCAA/Addidas Team Academic Award.  This is the second-straight season the team has received the award.

St. Edward's posted a team grade-point average of 3.05. They one of only 114 men's team in all three NCAA divisions and 414 total teams to receive the award.

The Hilltoppers finished the season with a 9-10-1 record and a second-place finish in the Heartland Conference.  The team narrowly missed being crowned conference champions, as Incarnate Word only bested them by a one-half game margin.
