Five Hilltoppers honored on All-Heartland Conference Team
DALLAS, Texas - Five members of the St. Edward's men's tennis team were honored on the 2008 Heartland Conference Team Monday afternoon.
Sophomores Boris Barrios, Bernard Lancaster, Brett Powers and Justin Raiti were all named to the all-Heartland Conference Team. Freshman Mick Walter was named Heartland Conference Freshman of the Year.
The Hilltoppers finished the season second in the Heartland Conference and ranked 22nd in the nation. They faced one of the toughest schedules in the country, taking on nine nationally-ranked teams and two Division I teams.
