Modern Facilities and Playing Fields

To enhance their athletic development, students enjoy access to a range of modern recreation facilities and playing fields. The university also maintains athletic training facilities and equipment for student-athletes and visiting teams and their athletic trainers.

Athletics Facilities

Life on our hilltop campus extends beyond the classroom, with facilities for student-athletes and visiting teams, as well as those interested in intramurals, campus recreation and general fitness, including:

• Lucian-Hamilton Field (Baseball)
• Diane Daniels Field (Softball)
• Brother Emmett Strohmeyer Courts (Tennis)
• Lewis-Chen Family Field (Soccer) with half-mile running/walking track
• Intramural and recreation field

Recreation and Convocation Center

This modern facility is equipped with a fitness center, six-lane pool, four racquetball/handball courts and two full-size basketball floors.

Grey Rock Golf Club

Originally opened in 1992 as the Golf Club at Circle C, the Grey Rock Golf Club is home to the men's and women's golf programs of St. Edward's. Located just 15 minutes from campus on 160 acres of rolling hill country, offering a classic style layout in championship condition.

The Hilltoppers also have the opportunity to play several of the city’s best courses, including:
