
Lisa Lowe joined Athletics in October 2008. She was named Head Athletic Trainer in July, 2009. She serves as the primary athletic trainer for baseball, men's and women's golf, and men's soccer.
Lisa comes to the hilltop after spending the previous two years as a merchandise processing leader at the Container Store in Austin. Prior to that, she was co-owner and director of program development for Peak Performances, LLC. Her collegiate athletics experience includes being an assistant strength and conditioning coach for UT–Austin women's basketball and women's golf teams from 1998–2005. In addition, she was an assistant athletic trainer for the University of Georgia for the 1997–1998 season and a graduate assistant atheltic trainer for the University of Florida from 1994–1997. She was also a student atheltic trainer at the University of Colorado.
She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association, along with being a certified athletic trainer, a certified strength and conditioning specialist, and certified in CPR and AED. She is also a licensed athetic trainer in the State of Texas.
Lisa received a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado in 1994 and a MEd in Kinesiology from UT–Austin in 1999.
She currently lives in Austin.
