Finishing just ahead of the Hilltoppers were St. Mary's (125) in fourth place and Texas Lutheran (136). St. Edward's defeated Southwestern (157) who finished seventh and UT-Permian Basin (196) in eighth place.

"Three of the five schools ahead of us were Division I and we were running one runner short, so I am very happy with the result" Riehl said. "There was some very good teams here today and we competed well."
