St. Edward’s ends up eighth at Heartland Conference Meet
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The St. Edward’s women’s cross country team finished eighth at the Heartland Conference Meet Saturday morning.
St. Edward’s was led by junior Sarah Ortiz (21:52) who finished in 23rd place. Freshman Lara Abbott (22:30) finished in 30th place, while senior Jane Rogers (24:39) finished 48th. Junior Kevyn Oakes (24:59) finished in 50th place, while junior Allisa Stintzi (25:52) finished in 53rd place. Freshman Christina Arce (27:33) finished 55th.
Dallas Baptist took home the team conference championship and Incarnate Word’s Yvonne Rodriguez (17:56) won the individual title, beating the field by 36 seconds.
The conference meet concludes the season for the Hilltoppers as they are in their fourth of NCAA existence.
