Brown named to All-Heartland Conference Volleyball Tournament Team
AUSTIN, Texas - Freshman Brittney Brown was named to the All-Heartland Conference Volleyball Tournament Team for her stellar play in the conference tournament this past weekend in San Antonio, Texas.
Brown, a San Antonio, Texas native, tallied 18 digs, two service aces, and one kill in St. Edward's loss to Incarnate Word in the Heartland Conference Tournament Semifinals.
Brown had an impressive freshman season for the Hilltoppers, helping her team to a 16-14 season and a third place finish in the Heartland Conference. Brown split time between defensive specialist and libero this season and led the team with 436 digs. She also contributed a .920 reception percentage and 25 service aces this season.
