Hilltopper Volleyball Team cooks breakfast for Ronald McDonald House of Austin
AUSTIN, Texas - The St. Edward's volleyball team cooked breakfast for the Ronald McDonald House of Austin on Sunday morning.
Ronald McDonald House of Austin is a temporary home-away-from-home for families with critically ill or injured children undergoing treatment in Austin area hospitals. This House allows them to have a comfortable room and bed, kitchen and laundry facilities, and a play area. They can also draw hope and strength from late-night conversations over coffee, sharing with other residents their experiences that may be difficult for family and friends back home to understand.
Seven members of the volleyball team cooked up breakfast tacos for the families staying at the house.
