Sean Donahue is entering his 10th season as the head coach and 11th season as a member of the Hilltopper volleyball program. After showing his dedication and excellence in 2001 as the St. Edward's assistant volleyball coach, when the Hilltoppers went 30-7 and were crowned Heartland Conference Champions, Donahue was hired as the head coach in 2002. In the nine years since, he has guided the team to a 176-130 record, five Heartland Conference titles and three trips to the NCAA Division II National Tournament, receiving the Coach of the Year award for the Heartland Conference in 2003, 2008 and 2009. During his time at the helm, he has coached one All-American, two all-region players, 24 all-conference players, two Heartland Conference Players of the Year, a Heartland Conference Libero of the Year, and two Heartland Conference Freshmen of the Year.
He picked up his first volleyball on a beach in 1991 and fell in love with the sport. In 1993, he enrolled at UT-Austin to study Kinesiology and play volleyball. From 1994 to 1996, Donahue played for the University of Texas Men's Club Volleyball Team as an outside hitter. In 1994 and 1995, the team won its conference, and from 1994 through 1996, the team went to the NIRSA Men's National Volleyball Tournament. Its best year was in 1995, when the team finished fifth in the nation.
During his 1995 volleyball season at UT-Austin, Donahue started working for Austin Junior Volleyball as the assistant director and coach, where he led both his first and second teams to the USA Junior Olympics for seven consecutive seasons. He earned his USA Volleyball Coaching Accreditation Program Level II coaching certification and was the recipient of USA Volleyball's Robert L. Lindsay Meritorious Service Award in 1999.
Donahue earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, with a minor in Business from UT-Austin in 1997. Currently he resides in Austin with his wife Shannon.
Kim Morgal

Kim Morgal is beginning her fourth season as assistant coach of the Hilltopper volleyball program. Previously she served as graduate assistant coach for Oklahoma City University. She was involved with the Oklahoma Charge Volleyball Club as a practice coach from 2003 to 2005 and then head coach, strength and conditioning coordinator and assistant director of coaching from 2005 to 2007. In addition, she coached the 2006 season at Kenneth Cooper Middle School in Oklahoma City.
As a player, Morgal started four seasons at Central Oklahoma, tallying 1,159 kills and 114 blocks. She was named first-team all-Lone Star Conference North Division her senior season and led the Bronchos to the NCAA Division II National Tournament twice. During high school, Morgal was an all-state performer at Edmond Santa Fe High School and was named all-city by The Oklahoman and Edmond Sun. She placed third at the USAV Adult National in Dallas, Texas this past May.
Morgal received a BS in Kinesiology from Central Oklahoma in 2006 and a MEd in Applied Behavioral Studies from Oklahoma City in 2008.
