The Symposium on Undergraduate Research and Creative Expression
This event is intended to provide a unique opportunity for students to present academic
research, visual art and other forms of creative expression as undergraduates, and to
generate a common forum for university wide communication among faculty and students.
A certificate of presentation will be given to the presenters.

We meet every other week, allowing upper division students to provide guidance to lower division students in Psychology. Keep an eye out for emails as well as this space for details!

I am Blake Agee and am a junior Psychology student. One of my favorite experiences was my internship with Austin State Hospital--I plan to return in summer '08. I also volunteer with Texas Runaway Hotline. My plans after graduation are to pursue Clinical Psychology to work with more chronic disorders.

Hello, my name is Doreen-Marie Esparza and I am a senior Psychology major. I have been in Austin since my sophomore year in high school and absolutely love it here! After graduation, I want to obtain my masters in Higher Education and be an advising specialist.

My name is Kari Rote. I am a senior Psychology major from Houston, Texas. I am hoping to be at University of Houston in the fall of 2008 in their Clinical PhD program specializing in Neuropsychology or in their Developmental PhD program which concentrates on Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience.

Autumn Sullivan is a Psychology major from Richmond, Texas, a town outside of Houston. Autumn will graduate this May, at which time she plans to attend graduate school to pursue a career in Rehabilitation Counseling. Autumn is the eldest of two children, and her brother also attends St. Edward’s.
