Graduate School Applications
- Getting A Good Letter of Recommendation: What Students Should Submit to the Professor
- A list of classes that you have taken with the professor, including semester (e.g. Spring 2007) and the grade that you received
- A statement of purpose: Why do you want to go to graduate school and what do you want to study? AND What are your ultimate professional intentions?
- A current resume or CV
- All of the materials needed to easily complete the process: addressed and stamped envelopes, exactly what programs you are applying to and any special considerations for that program, information to complete on-line recommendations, forms filled out unless the information is unknown.
- Submit the above information at least two weeks in advance of the deadline for the application. Without this information, it may be difficult to write a strong letter of recommendation for you.
- Writing a Quality Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Make an appointment with the Staff at the SEU Career Planning Office in Moody Hall
