  • Complete the application form and submit it, with the $45 application fee and response to the essay question, to: Center for Academic Progress, Attn: Graduate Admission, 3001 S. Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78704.
  • Submit official transcripts of all previous college work (one from each institution attended). Official transcripts must be sent by the issuing institution directly to the Center for Academic Progress.

Admission Criteria
  1. Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution;
  2. Demonstrated scholastic achievement at the undergraduate level evidenced by a minimum grade point average of 2.75 in the last 60 hours of study (applicants that do not meet the minimum GPA may apply for conditional admission);
  3. Aptitude for graduate study indicated by a minimum GMAT of 500 or GRE of 1,000 (composite of quantitative and verbal scores). Applicants educated at the college level in a language other than English must demonstrate oral and written English proficiency by attaining a minimum of 550 (213 computer based score) on the TOEFL examination). Applicants that meet the minimum GPA and have more than three years of professional work experience may waive the GMAT or GRE requirement (please see conditional admission);
  4. Evidence of ability to assume responsibility in the work environment. Professional work experience is highly desirable. A large majority of graduate business students have more than five years' professional work experience;
  5. Completed application form with supporting documents and application fee.

  • a minimum score of 500 on the GMAT or 1000 on the GRE (verbal + quantitative)

At the conclusion of the term in which a conditionally admitted student completes or exceeds 12 hours, his or her academic record will be reviewed. If the GPA is above 3.0, the student will be allowed to continue the program and the conditional status will be removed. If the GPA is below 3.0, the student will be dismissed from the program and not allowed to continue.
